Baie Ternay National Marine Park lies in the north west of Mahè island, the access to the Marine Park is by sea only. Designated 11th June 1979, the Baie Ternay Marine Park is 0.80km².
It is the paradise of snorkelers, and its white hidden beaches are marvelous places for picnics, sunbathing and swimming.
With no direct coastal road access, this park preserve its wild life and natural beauty rich of marine life, with a pristine beach, coral reefs, turquoise and clear seawater, always calm.
Here is possible to observe a wide variety of fish and other marine animals in their natural habitat, is the ideal place to spot dolphins, sea turtles, eagle rays, moray eels, catfish, batfish and also whale sharks!
